Reiki Trauma Release blends traditional Reiki, Theta Healing, light hypnosis, and shamanic energy work to reach what cognitive approaches often cannot. Gentle, paced, and held with the care that real healing requires.
Reiki Trauma Release is not a standard energy session. It is a carefully held combination of modalities designed specifically for people whose bodies are carrying more than talk, thinking, or even standard Reiki has been able to reach.
Tori developed this offering from over 13 years of working with clients navigating grief, relational trauma, chronic shutdown, and the kind of emotional weight that settles into the body and stays there. The result is a session that works at multiple layers simultaneously — energetic, subconscious, somatic, and spiritual.
Nothing here is forced. The approach follows the body's pace, not a predetermined emotional agenda. Release happens when the system is ready, not because it was pushed.
Each element of a Reiki Trauma Release session is chosen because it reaches something the others cannot reach alone. Together they create a depth of support that a single modality rarely produces.
We begin by clearing stagnant or accumulated energy from the auric field — the energetic layer that often holds the imprint of what the body has been processing. This creates a cleaner, more receptive container before deeper work begins.
Tori reads and rebalances the body's primary energy centers, identifying where energy has become congested, shut down, or overactive. This is not a general sweep — it is specific, discerning work that responds to what is actually present in your system.
Theta Healing works directly with subconscious-level beliefs and patterns — the programming beneath conscious awareness that often drives emotional responses, relationship dynamics, and self-perception. This modality reaches what standard talk approaches frequently cannot access because the patterns live below the verbal mind.
A gentle guided induction that relaxes the conscious mind enough to access stored emotional material without overwhelming the nervous system. This is not theatrical hypnosis. It is a calm, client-led process that creates access — not performance.
Drawing from shamanic healing traditions, this aspect of the session works with fragmented or disconnected parts of the self that may have split off during overwhelming or traumatic experiences. Soul retrieval supports the return of vitality, creative energy, and a sense of wholeness that chronic trauma can diminish over time.
Throughout the session and in its closing phase, Usui Reiki is channeled to support energetic integration, nervous system regulation, and the dissolution of patterns held in the body. This is the foundation everything else rests on — 13 years of lineage-rooted practice, held with precision and care.
This session tends to serve people who recognize themselves in one or more of the following patterns. Not as a diagnosis — as an invitation to pay attention.
Always on alert. Never quite able to exhale. The nervous system has been in protection mode long enough that stillness itself feels threatening.
Numbness where feeling should be. A flatness that is sometimes mistaken for healing but is more often the nervous system's protective retreat from overwhelm.
Grief that has not had space to move. Loss that settled into the body and stayed. Experiences that were too much to process in real time and never fully came back around.
Patterns that feel older than your own history. Emotional responses or beliefs that seem to come from somewhere beyond your personal experience — and often do.
Every Reiki Trauma Release session is 90 minutes. The structure below is the consistent container — what happens within it follows your system's lead, not a predetermined emotional script.
We open with a brief conversation about what you are carrying, what you are hoping to release, and anything your practitioner should know. You are never asked to over-explain or prove your pain. A general sense of what is present is enough.
Your practitioner clears the energetic field and reads the body's energy centers to identify where to focus the deeper work. This phase is receptive and gentle — you simply rest while it unfolds.
With your nervous system softened and your energy field cleared, we enter the subconscious layer. Tori guides you gently into a Theta state and uses light hypnotic induction to create access to stored material. You are never pushed beyond what feels safe.
This phase works with fragmented or disconnected aspects of the self — parts that may have withdrawn during overwhelming experiences. The work here is about return and reintegration, not excavation or re-traumatization.
The session closes with Reiki channeled through the full system, supporting integration of what has shifted and grounding the body back into a more regulated, settled state.
We close with a brief debrief of what arose and guidance for the hours and days that follow. You are not left alone with what opened. The session ends with a clear path forward.
Trauma-informed work is defined as much by what it does not do as by what it does. Here is what you will not experience in a Reiki Trauma Release session.
Healing cannot be bullied into happening. The body opens through trust, not pressure. Every decision in how this session is structured reflects that truth.
"Sometimes the bravest thing is not pushing through. It is allowing support in gently and letting the body lead at its own pace. That is what this session is built to hold."
